Making a change

It has been a VERY long time since I have logged in to update. This past year has been full of changes:

  • moved to a new state
  • rented an apartment for the first time (with my best friend)
  • explored some new cities and went to my first music festival
  • moved into my own apartment
  • got a promotion at a great company
  • bought a brand new car

AND while all of these things were happening, I was eating out and going out a LOT….which resulted in gaining back every pound I had lost before my move to NC.

THAKFULLY, I have people in my life that are also on fitness journeys who care deeply and encourage and uplift me. This past month I participated in a diet bet and while I did not fully complete my goal of losing 4% of my body weight, I did start to make progress. I have a coworker who likes to go to the gym with me, which is helpful. I am getting better at doing more things on my own and I am excited to be making some positive changes in my life.

I am looking forward to being more active here and hearing about all of your journeys, too!
