After reading this quote I just had to post it. Some days, I am a fitness queen: I workout like I should, I eat like  I should, and drink 1000 gallons of water. Other days I ask myself “do I really need to get off the couch today?” The answer is YES. YOU HAVE GOALS – get off the damn couch!

I can never predict when my motivation is going to escape me, so my best bet is to surround myself with it. That’s what this site is all about. Whenever I feel like quitting and just giving up, I want my Fit Fam to be there for me, just like I’m always here for you. You know the saying “You’re just cheating yourself”? That could not be truer in this lifestyle we’re trying to create. Every time you “sneak” an extra cheat meal or skip a workout the only person that’s being negatively impacted is yourself. You’ve got to work hard toward your goals every minute of every single day.

And we’re here to help. Please don’t ever hesitate to message or email me in a time of weakness. I promise I’ll need your help too 🙂 My favorite 2 means of motivation are this blog, and my fitness instagram. Like I said- surround yourself with people who have the same goals as you. Please don’t compare yourself to someone else, but work together to encourage one another. That’s what this is all about and I’m so grateful for everyone who has helped me so far along the way.

I also want to note that it is okay to miss some workouts and not eat 100% ALL of the time, we’re human. It is so important to listen to your body. The other day I had to take an impromptu rest day because I was so beat up from the day before. There is nothing wrong with that. I’d rather let my body rest for one day than risk hurting myself and being out for weeks. So pay attention to what your body is telling you.
